Vent Vision Nottingham is currently involved in one of Vent Vision’s largest projects. Rolls Royce of Derby is currently a £120,000 project. The development of the Derby site can rightly claim to be the world authority on the evolution of Rolls Royce as a company, and on its aero engines and other products particularly. Due to the manufacturing working conditions choosing the right ventilation products was of up most importance not only for cost and supply but also for health and safety reasons. The first phase of this project Vent Vision selected and supplied 40 off 800mm diameter Elta Long Cased Axial Fans to meet the design duty of 7.5m3/sec at 300pa. All fans were accompanied with attenuators and acoustic jackets to meet the site noise criteria for the aero engine assembly lines. Vent Vision also supplied the installation equipment with 400 ceiling diffusers and plenum boxes used in their prestigious offices. The second phase emulated the first, but with 64 Elta Long Cased Axial fans being fitted and a similar amount of ventilation equipment and diffusers were also supplied.
